HALH Online Winter Lectures 2025 We are pleased to be bringing you our free Winter Lecture Series again in 2025. Our second lecture, ‘Unlocking the Love-Lock', will take place on Tuesday evening 11 February and will be given by Dr Ceri Houlbrook. Book now. HALH Spring Meeting & AGM 2025 Our Spring Meeting will take place on Saturday 17 May 2025 at Dagnall Street Baptist Church, St Albans. Details to follow. Symposium 2025 For 2025 we will be partners with the British Association for Local History and Bedfordshire Local History Association for a regional conference with a transport theme to be held on Saturday 11 October at Barton-le-Clay, Bedfordshire. HALH Awards for contribution to local history 2024 Three dedicated local historians, Ruth Jeavons, Dawn Pitts and Theo van de Bilt, were presented with the HALH Award by our new President, Dr Heather Falvey at our Spring Meeting in May.
