Doris Jones Baker 1926 - 2020
We regret to announce the death of Dr Doris Jones-Baker, who passed away in 2020 at her home in Whitwell at the age of 94. Dr Baker served on the committees of both HALH and East Herts Archaeological Society. A tribute will appear in the Spring 2021 edition of Herts Past & Present. HALH AGM 2020 & 2021
We were unable to hold a combined AGM & Symposium 2020 in November as we had hoped.
The resolutions for this year's AGM were decided by postal vote. Voting papers were sent to members at the end of September along with an update to this Autumn's 'News & Events'. We are pleased to welcome Helen Hofton as our new chairman and Elaine Saunders as a new trustee. For details of the resolutions that were passed by postal vote click here
It is hoped to hold this year's HALH SPRING MEETING & AGM on 15 May at Bramfield but with the provision to change to an online meeting if necessary.
