Retirement of HALH President Dorothy Abel Smith.
At our AGM on Saturday 21 May members marked the retirement of Dorothy Abel Smith who has served two terms (10 years) as President of HALH. We are very grateful to Dorothy for her dedicated work for the Association over this time and look forward to seeing her again at future events. We welcome new President, David Short. More

ward for Personal Achievement presented to Peter Boylan of Braughing

Former Chairman and now Vice President of Braughing Local History Society, Peter Boylan, was awarded the HALH Award for Personal Achievement in Local History in Hertfordshire at this year's Spring Meeting on 21 May. More on this
