About HALH HALH is an
independent association having been established in 1949 as the
Hertfordshire Local History Council. It seeks to promote the study of
local history throughout Hertfordshire. A Registered Charity No.
280499, it is supported by a large number of individual members, local
history and amenity groups, museums and other groups. It acts as a
co-ordinating and umbrella body and has the support of Hertfordshire
Archives and Local Studies (HALS).
Membership is open to any interested individual
or organisation whether they live in Hertfordshire or elsewhere. To join,
please complete the
membership application
form
and return it with the appropriate fee:

A new membership leaflet is now available in
public libraries etc.
